For Sale - a rare sought-after limited edition produced to celebrate the 30th anniversary of mini production in 1989 (only 2000 produced in the cherry red colour).

This time-warp car looks exactly as it did when it rolled off the production line - it still has the original pearlescent cherry red paintwork, half leather interior including headrests, original radio and speakers etc. This car is a real character that definitely puts a smile on people's faces - I get someone stopping me to ask about it every single time I go out in him!

The first owner took great care of this car, having it undersealed from new and never taking it out in the rain, apparently using just it for travelling to shows in. It was then purchased by a friend of her son and the mini was largely unused in storage, hence he decided to sell it on, which is when I purchased it. Whilst in my ownership I have taken great care of the car and continued to not take it out in rain which accounts for the lack of rust on the original panels.

Its genuine mileage of 33000 means it's just like a driving a new mini out of the showroom in the 80s- drives very smoothly for a car of its age. The car is in fantastic original condition (has not been re-furbished) and everything works as it should. Date of first registration 1st August 1989.

It came 2nd at last year's London to Brighton Mini Run Show 'N Shine (SNS), not bad for a 20 year old car that hasn't had any panels replaced...
